Here you'll find a spacious, modern, and serene retreat with expansive views of the Willamette Valley, many wildlife including deer just outside your window, and a breathtaking starry night sky. Watch the sunrise from the upper deck, or star gaze from the outdoor fire-pit while surrounded by nature in this mini-resort setting! A perfect place to reflect + rejevenate. HEX ODYSSEY @hexodyssey A spacious six sided, 3BR/2BA, BnB with a large central fireplace create a cozy and inviting vibe. Originally built in 1968 with its vaulted ceilings and massive exposed beams, this house was one of the first constructed atop Dundee Hill providing expansive views of the Willamette Valley and distant mountain tops, including Mt. Hood. Natural light fills each room from the wall of picture windows to the tubular sky lights, the lofty interior provides a sense of weightlessness high among the treetops. A mini luxury retreat atop Dundee Hill in the premier wine growing region of the Willamette Valley. Wine tasting, vineyards and wineries are found throughout the surrounding area with more than you could possibly visit, all within a ten minute drive.  The Hex Odyssey has a large 1,975 sqft. open floor plan with a ski lodge-esc fireplace, two living rooms, open kitchen and dining room, it's the perfect gathering place for socializing or preparing meals together after a day of wine tasting in Dundee. Melt into one of the extra-large sofas with your toes in the luxury shag carpet and gaze up toward the vaulted hexagon ceiling while you exhale your stresses away. Can you feel it? Light a fire in the large central stone fireplace and cozy up with a blanket with a hot cup of tea. Stay in and enjoy the opportunity to recharge and rejuvenate. Spa-like bathrooms boast solar tubes and a natural skylight through the ceilings, bringing natural light indoors with thoughtful luxury touches throughout to make you feel pampered. The main bathroom has a walk-in shower with seat. Master bath has radiant heated floors, dual sinks, a large soaking tub and a walk-in shower. Other Details to Note

The Hex Odyssey cannot accept any pets or companion animals. We apologize for any inconvenience and welcome humans, besides your animals need a vacation from you too. =) Monthly rentals will require tenant to pay utilities in excess of $350. Owner will cover water and garbage. There may be a refundable damage deposit requested as well.

House Rules

VACATION RENTAL RULES & REGULATIONS By confirming a reservation and/or occupying the premises, guests acknowledge and agree to the following legally binding house rules. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in immediate eviction, forfeiture of all fees and deposits, and additional charges as described below.* --- 1. NO PETS POLICY No pets or animals of any kind are permitted on the premises. This property is a hypoallergenic environment. If an animal is found to have been brought onto the property, a **minimum deep cleaning fee of \$500** will be charged. Additional damages or costs will be billed accordingly. 2. REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY Only individuals listed in the reservation request are permitted on the property. Unregistered guests or visitors are strictly prohibited. Violation may result in eviction and forfeiture of all rental fees and deposits. 3. AGE REQUIREMENT Reservations must be made by individuals aged 25 years or older. No exceptions. 4. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS Guests agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations. Violation of any laws or these house rules may result in immediate eviction without refund. 5. NO SMOKING OR VAPING Smoking, vaping, or the use of any dab rigs is **strictly prohibited** inside the home or anywhere on the property. This includes marijuana and all other substances, regardless of legality under Oregon law. A **\$1,000 fine** will be charged if any evidence of smoking or related odors is found or if professional odor abatement is required. 6. NOISE & QUIET HOURS Quiet hours are enforced between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM daily. Disturbances may result in: * A written or verbal warning * A fine up to $300 * Immediate eviction Repeated or severe violations will result in local authorities being contacted and trespass enforcement initiated. --- 7. FURNISHINGS All furnishings, including indoor and outdoor items, must remain in their original location and on the premises. Guests may be charged for missing or damaged items. --- 8. NO GLITTER OR CONFETTI Use of glitter, confetti, or similar materials is strictly prohibited. A **minimum cleaning fee of \$300** will be assessed for violations. No signs shall be taped, stapled or nailed within or outside of the home. --- 9. CONDITION UPON DEPARTURE Guests are required to leave the property in the same clean and orderly condition as upon arrival. Additional cleaning fees may be applied if the property is left in poor condition. --- 10. POOL SAFETY AND GLASS POLICY Absolutely no glass containers are permitted in or near the pool area. Any damage to the pool liner caused by glass will result in charges up to $8,000, including loss of rental income during repairs. --- 11. NO PUBLIC OR OUTDOOR NUDITY Public nudity, including in the pool or visible outdoor areas, is prohibited. This includes areas visible to the street or neighboring properties. --- 12. OCCUPANCY AND DISTURBANCES The maximum occupancy is limited to the number of guests stated in the reservation. Exceeding this number or hosting unauthorized guests will result in: * Immediate eviction * Forfeiture of all rental fees and deposits * Fines or legal action Use of the property for unlawful activity, or causing disturbance or damage to neighboring properties, is grounds for removal. --- 13. FINES, EVICTIONS, AND LAW ENFORCEMENT If a noise complaint, guest overage, or disturbance occurs, we will: 1. Attempt contact via text or call 2. Issue a \$300 fine if unresolved 3. Dispatch a representative to the property If the guest is unreachable or noncompliant, law enforcement will be contacted, all guests will be trespassed, and further fines may be assessed. --- 14. HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT Owner is not responsible for loss, injury, or damage to guests or their belongings during their stay. This includes interruption of services (e.g., utilities, cable), weather, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control. --- 15. RELEASE OF LIABILITY By staying at the property, guests agree to release and discharge the Owner from any claims or liabilities arising from injuries, damages, or losses related to the occupancy or use of the premises, including for themselves and all accompanying guests. --- 16. ATTORNEYS' FEES In the event of a legal dispute arising from the rental or occupancy, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover all reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs. --- 17. OWNER'S RIGHT TO TERMINATE The Owner reserves the right to cancel a reservation or terminate occupancy at any time, at their sole discretion, for violation of these terms or any lawful reason.

Hex Odyssey is located less than a mile from Dundee's bustling restaurant scene.  Located in the Welcome Binder you’ll find when you arrive, are suggestions and recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Red Hills Market, our personal favorite and definitely a favorite place for locals and visitors, is great for coffee, breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Tina’s is a longstanding restaurant for fine dining, or if you are looking for something more casual, try newcomer Wooden Heart,, the Dundee Bistro, or La Sierra for classic Mexican food. . There is a fun market in Newberg on Wednesday night, and Dundee just started it's own Farmers Market every Friday.   Wine tasting, vineyards and wineries are found throughout the  surrounding area with over 50 in a ten minute drive.   Check out dundeehills. org for the latest info on events and hours. The trailhead for Harvey Creek Trail is just a block away from your front door, and it is a great way to escape into nature.  The trail winds its way through a mile and a half loop of old growth Pacific Northwest woods to Harvey Creek.  This can be extended to walk or mountain bike along NE Red Hills Road to view Jory Hills Vineyard, Two Mule Vineyards, Fuqua Vineyard and Thistle Vineyard  as well as taking in stunning views of Archery Summit Red Hills Estate Vineyard.  If you’re feeling a bit more active you can bike/ walk to Furioso Vineyards or Domaine Roy & Fils to wine taste. Also atop the Dundee Hill, at the entrance to the Harvey Creek Trail, is the old Pioneer Cemetery, a fascinating place to explore a bit of history amidst gorgeous oak trees and sweeping views of the valley with Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. The original tombstones in fact all faced Mt Hood. Another nearby trail is the Viewmont Greenway Park trail that follows the southern side of Four Graces Vineyard.

What a unique place! When we walked in, we were greeted with a goody basket that my kids immediately starting eyeing! The house was spotless and it was well appointed inside. It was a hot week in Dundee, and having the pool out back was so much fun. There are a couple of pool toys - I really liked the basketball hoop, my girls weren't as interested but they did enjoy shooting me with the soaker gun. One thing to note, a couple of screw heads had sort of stuck up through the trex, so just be mindful when walking around the pool. The back deck was our favorite for dining - its so peaceful and quiet, and its pretty easy to navigate from the kitchen to the back table. We went in to town for dinner a couple of nights, and we actually drove in ... its a quick drive and we just didn't feel like tackling hills on the way home. ** Just note, Dundee has an extremely strict policy about guests at the house, this isn't the house policy but local ordinance. Just a heads up!

This house is worth every penny. Beautiful, amazing property - well manicured yard, comfortable seating and spectacular views. Beds are super comfortable. Lance is an amazing host - very responsive, friendly, and detailed instructions. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely time spending a few days relaxing by the pool. The house had everything we needed and more. The views from the windows were beautiful and all the amenities were excellent. We spent so much time in the pool and had a great time! Only thing to pay attention to is the amount of stairs needed to access the house and get down to the pool and hot-tub. Lance was very communicative and helpful and checked in with us regularly. Highly recommend a stay!

Excellent home, beautifully furnished, fantastic view, wonderful setting. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and outdoor areas. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of linens and towels. Lance was a very helpful host. I highly recommend it.

My daughters and I had a wonderful time. The pool was so much fun. we spent a few hours outside reading, swimming and just relaxing. Lance was amazing he left us a basket full of snacks. The house has a calming feel to it. The beds were very comfortable. over all we would most definitely go back the next time we are in Oregon.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hex Odyssey! The house was stunning and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, making our arrival and departure a breeze. Our host, Lance, provided incredibly clear instructions, which made navigating the property easy. What truly made our experience special was Lance's hospitality. He was not only friendly but also incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome basket and a bottle of Argyle sparkling wine waiting for us, which added a lovely touch to our stay. It was evident that he genuinely cared about ensuring we had a wonderful time. Lance's place was truly amazing. The pictures don't really do the place justice. The views from the deck off the living room and kitchen were amazing, the beds very comfortable and a really amazing layout. What you don't see in these photos is the extra level of service and amenities all over the house. There was a bottle of Argyle sparkling in a gift basket full of food and snacks, a thoughtfully stocked fridge (OJ, filtered water, oat milk, etc) and the bathrooms were stocked with essentials (q-tips, makeup remover wipes, etc). Since we had self check in, we just straight in and then headed out for dinner in Dundee, never communicating that we had made it. Lance reached out the following morning to double check that we had made it and all was good. A+, we will stay here again in the summer when we can enjoy the pool!

This was one of the best stays I have ever had. I needed something last minute and lance was very helpful to accommodate me. He even had some fresh creamer and bananas brought to the house for the next morning! The listing was perfect and the hot tub was hot and the house was very clean! Would 100% recommend staying here!
